The Questions Everyone Brings to QHHT — And What the Subconscious Says
Before every QHHT session, I ask people to write down some questions they want to bring to their subconscious. Anything goes — there's nothing off-limits, anything you want to know about yourself, write them down and bring them to the session. After holding the space for so many QHHT sessions, what continues to move me is how often people who have absolutely nothing in common, walk in carrying the same questions. Different lives, different ages, different reasons for being there and somehow, the same things weigh on their hearts.
We don't know what we don't know until we know it. But there are certain things, it seems, that we all want to know.
What People Keep Asking
The number one question that I hear from nearly every client is: what is my purpose? People put it in their own words but the resonance is the same: What am I supposed to be doing with my life? Am I on the right path? Why do I feel like I should be doing something different, but I can't figure out what? The wording may change person to person, but the ache underneath remains the same. There's this longing to know that what you're drawn to actually matters, that your life has a direction you can trust even when you can't see it clearly.
Then there's meditation. So many people want to know if they're doing it right, or doing enough, or even doing the right kind. They've read the books, they've tried the apps, they've sat on the cushion, and they still feel like they're somehow falling short. We make everything so much harder than it needs to be, and meditation is a perfect example. People wind up turning something that's supposed to bring them peace into another thing they're failing at.
Health is another subject that is often asked about in QHHT sessions. Should I change my diet? Do I still need this medication? What about supplements? People are carrying so many voices from so many directions telling them what to put in or take out of their bodies, and they're tired of everyone else's certainty. They want to hear from the part of themselves that actually knows. (This longing for personal Truth carries through every question.)
And then there are the questions about the world — the ones people are almost embarrassed to ask out loud. Is it always going to be this dark? Is something better coming, or is this just how it is now? These questions carry real weight to the people asking them. They feel what's happening around them deeply, and again want something true, a resonant message from their dear heart to hold onto.
What Comes Through
Here's the part that gets me every time. The subconscious doesn't give complicated answers. It doesn't hand people a five-year plan or a reading list or a set of instructions. Person after person, the answers are gentler and simpler than anyone expects. That’s what makes QHHT sessions so valuable and beneficial.
On purpose, the subconscious/higher self says — and I'm paraphrasing across many, many, many sessions, but the essence is always this — just be you. It's so simple. The freedom is in letting yourself feel joy and be guided to and through joy. People come in braced for a revelation, some big cosmic assignment, and instead they hear that the purpose is just to be fully and simply themselves. And that lands hard, because most of us have never really given ourselves permission to believe that could be enough.
On meditation, there's almost a warmth to the way it comes through, something close to gentle amusement: ten minutes. Just connecting for ten minutes a day. That's it. You guys make everything so much harder. I've seen people who have been agonizing over their spiritual practice for years hear that and just — soften. The whole body lets go. Sometimes the most healing thing that comes through in a session is permission to stop trying so hard.
On health — and I want to be careful here, because this is important. I'm a licensed professional counselor, and I do not tell anyone to stop medications or change their medical care. Please, always continue any prescribed treatment under your physician's guidance. What I'm sharing is what the subconscious says in sessions, which is different from a clinical recommendation. And what the subconscious tends to say is that we are our optimal, organic, and natural selves. That the body already knows what it needs. That many of the things we layer on from the outside are programs we've absorbed rather than what we truly need. The subconscious doesn't say we cure anything — but it consistently points people back toward trusting what's already within them. That's a pattern worth noticing, even as we hold it responsibly.
On the state of the world, the answer always carries this quality of calm I can't quite describe in writing. It's not dismissive of the heaviness, not telling people they shouldn't feel what they feel. But it's deeply steady. We are at such an evolved level of consciousness on our planet. So much light is coming in that is changing things at all levels. There is so much beauty to come. People leave that part of the session carrying something different than what they walked in with — not answers exactly, but a kind of remembering of the purity of their own heart and the purity of their own experience and that something greater, and that an infinite intelligence is holding them in this pure light and pure love. It rings true as if they already knew this and just needed to hear it from the part of themselves that could say it with certainty.
What the Pattern Tells Us
I think about this a lot — why it matters that these questions keep repeating across different people in different sessions. If it were just one person's wondering, it would be personal. But when it's this consistent, it’s worth looking at that something greater is occuring. We are all working on similar things. We are all carrying the same core questions underneath whatever specific situation brought us to the chair.
And the subconscious keeps meeting us with the same truth: it's simpler than you've been making it. You're closer than you think. The questions you thought were yours alone may be the same ones the people next to you are also carrying. We are all so deeply connected and the answers are there inside each of us. Sometimes it takes being quiet enough, going deep, or feeling supported enough to hear them clearly.
We are divine beings of pure love and light, and the peace rings clear when we remember the truth of who and what we truly are.
If you've been sitting with a question that won't resolve on its own, your subconscious/higher self may already have the answer. Book a consultation to talk about whether a QHHT session is the right next step.
